Libertarian Party Voices Opposition to Straight-Ticket Voting

Libertarian Party Vice Chair Andy Wolf voices opposition to straight-ticket voting at the July 22, 2010 LaPorte County Election Board meeting.

“Straight party voting is essentially voting a party into office, and that leads to bad government. That’s not what we need,” Wolf said.

Wolf further indicated that straight-ticket voting has contributed to the county’s current economic situation. “What is needed is efficient government.”

Wolf is running for Indiana State Representative in District 9 against Scott Pelath, who has held the position since 1999.
